Eastman Testifies Before CA Legislature

John Eastman, director of the Claremont Institute's Center for Constitutional Jurisprudence, will testify today before the California Legislature in Sacramento, regarding a proposed amendment to the California state constitution that would maintain marriage in California as a union of one man and one woman.

Dr. Eastman will testify before the Judiciary Committee of the California Assembly at 11:00 a.m., in the Assembly Hearing Room 4202, concerning Assembly Constitutional Amendment Number 3 introduced by Assemblyman Ray Haynes.

Eastman will also testify before the Judiciary Committee of the California Senate at 2:30 p.m. in Assembly Hearing Room 4203, regarding the Senate's Constitutional Amendment Number 1, proposed by Senator Bill Morrow.
