CRB Forum: William Voegeli on Spending & the Welfare State

Never Enough

To advance the mission of the Claremont Review of Books, the Claremont Institute will be holding quarterly Claremont Review of Books Forums. The first such forum featured a lecture by Senior Editor William Voegeli with an introduction by Editor Charles Kesler. The full remarks can be downloaded as an audio file here.

William Voegeli's remarks on spending and the welfare state were a follow-up to his essay, "Enough Already," in the Winter 2011-12 issue of the Claremont Review of Books. He is a Senior Editor of the Claremont Review of Books and a visiting scholar at Claremont McKenna College's Henry Salvatori Center. An expert on the growth of the welfare state, he is the author of Never Enough: America's Limitless Welfare State (featured to the left).
